Design Call & Initial Design Consultation

All projects begin with a 30 minute design call to discuss your project, budget and desired timeline, this will give you an opportunity to see how we work.

Then we meet at your home for a 90 minute design consultation where we explore your project in more detail and create a scope of works.

We take measurements and notes of your space, take photos and record any existing furnishings and artwork to be incorporated into your new design.

We then provide you with a Scope of Works and Fee Proposal which outlines the estimated costs to complete your project.

Site Measure + Concept & Design Development

Once we’ve decided to work together, we start developing the aesthetic direction of your project.

We create a mood board referencing inspirational images, colour palette, style and examples of furnishings. We create a general floor plan and map out spatial planning to achieve the best layout of your space.

We meet to present to you the concept design, make any alternations or changes and gain your approval. Next we move forward with the detailed, and more exciting, documentation phase.

Detailed Documentation

This is where everything starts to take shape.

We design the cabinetry details, create the fixtures and finishes schedules and materials selections as well as detailed floor plans, elevations, electrical layout plans and lighting schedules.

We also design any custom furniture and upholstery during this phase.

You will now receive your detailed design documentation for approval, once this is signed off, we will move on to the construction phase.
